The craft of care.

The craft of care.

drYp exists because the wellness industry promised inclusivity and delivered something else. We built the space we couldn't find and designed every detail to prove it.

Built for the person who always felt like an outsider.

There's a version of wellness that says you have to earn your place. Work harder. Go further. Get better before you're welcome. We disagree with all of it. drYp was built around a different belief that stillness is a right, not a reward. This is the craft of care. And it's deliberate.

Our Story

Our Story

Anshita spent 20 years in corporate life (biotech, pharma, the whole machinery of it) until she hit a wall. Not failure. Burnout. The kind where you realise you're running on empty and none of it is filling you back up.

What kept pulling her back, no matter where she lived, was yoga. Not as exercise - as a way of finding herself. Her brother runs a studio in LA that captures exactly the feeling she kept searching for: stillness, groundedness, the sense that whatever you came in carrying, you can put it down for an hour.

She couldn't find that in London. So she built it. drYp Studios is the direct result of someone who knew exactly what was missing and had the conviction to go and create it.

Our guides are fully certified and trained in a philosophy of presence not performance. They won't correct you from the front of the room. They'll meet your practice where it is, and gently open the door to where it could go.

Ricki

Yoga Teacher

Yoga has always been in the background of my life, my mum practised when I was growing up. I didn’t really connect with it properly until we went on a retreat when I was 20. It was during a turbulent time in my mid-20s that yoga became something much deeper for me; it stopped being just movement and turned into a way to ground myself and reconnect. A few years later I trained as a teacher in Power Vinyasa, and since then I’ve been lucky to learn from people like Miles Mortensen, who’s had a big influence on how I teach today dynamic, flowing, energising, but always inclusive and adaptable whatever your level. Although yoga is a huge passion of mine, I genuinely love all kinds of movement, and with my love of electronic music you’ll probably notice a few of these elements sneaking into my playlists during class too.
